Our values — Respect, Routines and Responsibility — guide behaviour, shape relationships and help pupils become confident, resilient and compassionate learners. Children’s wellbeing, both emotional and physical, is central to our work: my aim is that every child feels happy, safe and arrives at school every day excited for a new adventure. 

We are proud of our close partnership with parents. Staff are approachable and work collaboratively with families to support each child’s progress and wider development. Our transition programme with The Regent Secondary School helps pupils move on confidently when the time comes.

As a school, we are committed to remaining at the forefront of recognised outstanding international education. We keep our practice under continual review and adopt approaches supported by current research; our teaching pedagogy is informed by evidence from respected organisations such as the Education Endowment Foundation and other international research bodies. This ensures our classroom practice is ambitious, effective and well matched to the needs of our diverse cohort, including pupils with SEND and those learning English as an additional language.

My practical focus as headteacher is straightforward: get the day‑to‑day teaching right for every pupil. That means clear curriculum thinking, strong subject knowledge across the staff, lessons that engage and challenge, and feedback that leads to real improvement. Everything we do — from classroom practice to enrichment — is chosen to make learning irresistible.
