We have a vibrant and inclusive House System designed to fosters strong bonds among pupils, promote personal development, and nurture a spirit of positive competition, embodying the school’s dedication to holistic education.
Pupils are assigned to one of four houses upon enrolment and remain in the same house throughout their time at the school. It is the expectation that siblings will belong to the same house. The four houses are named after four prominent rivers in West and Central Africa; Benue House, Congo House, Senegal House, and Volta House. Although each house has its unique identity and colour, they all share the same core values of the Regent Secondary School. Teachers and staff serve as house mentors, supporting pupils in building a strong sense of belonging and pride within their houses.
Houses compete in various academic, athletic, and cultural events throughout the school year. Events include inter-house sports competitions, quiz competitions, debates, speech competitions, music and art competitions, and assembly competitions. At the end of the academic year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a celebrated achievement that brings the entire school together to recognise the efforts and accomplishments of each house.
We help our students nurture their innate skills and guide them to acquire skills sets required to thrive in tyhe 21st century.
We are proud of our students’ achievements, with 10 consecutive years of excellent Cambridge IGCSE examination results.
Stay up to date as events unfold weekly.
