Key Stage 3
Curriculum
The curriculum is presented as a series of problems to be solved, rather than a body of knowledge to be assimilated.
In Years 7 to 9, the academic curriculum focuses on foundational skills in core subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities. The curriculum emphasises problem-solving and real-world applications, guiding students through “Big Questions” to deepen their engagement. Other subjects include Art, Drama, French, Computing, Music, Physical Education, PSHE, and Nigerian Studies. Students take the Checkpoint diagnostic examination at the end of Year 9.
