Head, Early Years
Tegan Jessup is the Head of Early Years at the Regent School Abuja. She received her Double Degree – Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (Birth-5) and Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Science -from Charles Sturt University, Australia in 2007 and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary) at Deakin University, Australia in 2009.
Tegan began her teaching career as an early childhood teacher, working at a variety of centers in Regional Victoria and New South Wales, Australia. In 2010 she began her journey into the school system.
From 2010 to 2014 she taught at St Joseph’s School Cobram. In 2011 she took over as the Unit Leader of the Lower School and was a member of the Senior Management Team. In 2014 she also took on the role of Report Coordinator. Tegan began her international teaching career in January 2015, moving to Abuja to take up a position at Springhall British School. During this time, she acted as a mentor for new teachers. At the beginning of the 2017 School Session, Tegan moved to Mexico City to take up a position at COBIS accredited Edron Academy.
Tegan joined The Regent School in 2018. During her short time at The Regent School, she has been the Deputy Head of Lower Primary and Literacy Coordinator.
