My name is Bethlehem (Betty). I have two girls in the school year 4 & 2. We have been with the Regent school for more than 4 years. I am happy that we decided to put them at the School. I like the approach the school uses to educate younger and older children. If you want to keep your kids busy with homework, readings and educational websites given from the school then Regent school is the best. I like that the home works are set for a month or week, which is very convenient to plan the activities with the kids. The children enjoy taking part in the different extracurricular activities offered as after school club.
The teachers are very dedicated and friendly, continuously working hard to bring the pupil to expected level. Every child matter to the school, so Regent has opened a department for special needs children which is admirable. I appreciate the effort the school puts for parents to see their child’s work and performance during class assembly, presentations, and parent interview in each term.
I am a parent to two children in the school and this is my second year in the school. My decision to come to the Regent school arose out of desire for good pre-school environment for my 2-year-old. A friend said I could get that in the school on Euphrates street. I visited and transferred the older one. From the very first visit, she said ‘Mum, please this is the school I want’. I asked why and her response was that the teacher made me feel at home. That settled it for me.
The staff generally look happy which also reflects on the student. Happy teachers raise happy children in school. The tone of the school provides a positive support to all students to achieve their best. No matter the level you think your child is, the teachers are willing to work with the child to get to and beyond the prescribed standard set for her age and class.
For me, TRPS Abuja is a place to be. My daughter in year four has had fantastic time with the club activities as well as achieving her set goals and targets. She has been able to increase her confidence level with the support provided by her teachers and the conducive environment. Another plus to the school is the fact that my child can learn to swim within a secured environment. I give TRPS 5-stars!
”My Regent School experience is my journey through Primary School all over again; only this time I am going through this experience with my child – so it has brought me back to being a child as well as a parent with a responsibility to give the best I can to my child. Because the school carries you along; it’s really a full-time job and requires my involvement in every aspect of my child’s life both academically and in all extracurricular activities. As she progresses into upper primary, I see an independent, beautiful, confident and intelligent girl. I am so proud of the young lady she is evolving into. I will recommend the Regent School to new parents who have not been able to make a decision regarding their choice of school for their children. I have learnt a lot on this journey as I have been exposed to so much especially IT resources. Kudos Regent School…. Keep up the good work.”
“I am Grace Lafen-Takwa, mother to Helga and Samella-Faith Suifon. Our girls arrived at the Regent Primary School in September 2014 into years 4 and Playgroup respectively, we were referred to the Regent Primary School by our organization and a few family friends we had met here on arrival in Abuja. One of the things that got me attracted to the Regent Primary School was the British Foundation Curriculum that was being offered. In addition, as I was shown around the School, I was blown away with the open space you find in-between the Lower and Upper Primary of the School. At the Regent, one is served with Academics, Extracurricular Activities, Tight Security, Parent Involvement and a whole lot of fun-filled activities. Here, we also experience a very rich Cultural Diversity Heritage from the Host Country. There is also a huge variety of Cultural blend from around the World given the Expatriate Community that Regent is blessed with both at the Regent Primary and Secondary Schools. For New prospective Parents, I would say if you are looking for a primary and Secondary School out here in Abuja with a British Base Curriculum? Then Regent Primary and Secondary schools are the places to be.”
“If you’re thinking of a solid foundation for your kids, in every aspect, Regent primary school is the solution. It has everything it takes. My little daughter, could not express herself. Thanks to Regent School, she is more confident and has developed her self esteem. I was a blessed parent of 3 kids and enjoyed raising funds as a PTA member and helped the underprivileged in the Blind Center. Thank you.”
