Our Story
The Regent Primary School is a learning driven international community where experienced and dynamic teachers enable every student to develop their academic potential. We are committed to providing premium learning opportunities to both the local and international communities of Abuja. The international, British-based curriculum is broad and balanced; it provides opportunities for students to be high performing learners whilst at the same time clearly recognising a range of academic needs, ensuring that all students feel valued and successful. Students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is a priority, ensuring optimum cooperation. The school successfully blends its British educational heritage with a respect and awareness of our host country’s beliefs and norms and those of the expat community. - We set high academic expectations for all students based upon the requirements of the English National Curriculum and ensure that their moral, social and cultural development is a priority
- We enable every child to learn in a way that works for them, and this will be clearly communicated to parents to ensure that you can continue to support your child’s learning at home
- We have a varied, sophisticated and accurate assessment process that enables us to evaluate your child’s learning against the English National Curriculum 2014, giving clear indicators of ‘’next steps’’

- Our international British-based curriculum is founded on clear learning goals with high expectations, that students and parents can access, understand and use to help the children to reach the next level of achievement in their learning
- We use a mix of formative and summative assessment and evaluation tools that ensure each learner has the opportunity to demonstrate their achievement in a learning style that suits them
- Teachers are provided with continuous professional development delivered by in-house, local, regional and international providers (The University of Nottingham’s PGCEi for example), ensuring that your child’s learning is kept at the cutting edge of education
