Battle of the books

The Battle of the Books is a way to get The Regent School pupils to read a variety of books and learn to comprehend what they are reading. It is a way the Librarians wish to promote recreational reading in the school.

The programme is a "quiz" type of game in which house teams try to answer queshttp://regentschoolabuja.com/primary/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/bob.jpgtions based on plots, settings, characters, titles and authors.

Participating pupils are given several weeks to read the 15 books selected by the Librarians and to choose house representatives by quizzing each other on the books they have read.
Whole school Battle of the Books will take place during Book Week.
